Our scented candles are made with love and care by two talented women who are not only partners in life but also in craft. Their shared passion for craftsmanship and aromas has led to this beautiful collection of candles.

The name of our brand is inspired by their unique and close bond. Together, they create scented candles that not only smell wonderful but also tell a story of love, strength, and connection. Each candle is handmade, with attention to every detail, so you can enjoy a luxurious and personal experience.

How did Pottiepot come to be?

During a long car journey, we came up with the idea of bringing all our passions together. Nomi loves gemstones and the stories behind them. Lotte loves design and turning something negative into something positive. The word "potten" (pots) is often used as a derogatory term for lesbians. Yet, we want to put a positive spin on it. Our products are contained in a pot and are made and filled with love. After a brief moment of hesitation, the name was quickly decided: 'Pottie Pot'.

Then came the hardest part. How are we going to make this? Which gemstones are we going to use and how are we going to design it?
The design aspect quickly fell to Lotte. As a graphic designer, she created a logo and corporate identity in no time.
Nomi also quickly found the gemstones and decided on the names for the candles.

Our house is full of candles, but making them is a different story altogether. Eventually, we found a local factory that was willing to create the scented candle with us. The factory owner looked at us with wide eyes when we told our story, but he also believed in it. Just like us! Together, we searched for the best pot and scent. In our studio, we started experimenting with the gemstones. A beautiful first collection was born. Pottie Pot is here!
